The Mûntsegroppe is an old monk trail in the municipality of Achtkarspelen near Harkema. This path already appears on maps from 1540. Ruerd van der Veen was known for his coarse language. One day he let slip that he was not afraid of the devil. On the way home on the path, a woman blocked his way. She didn't budge. When Ruerd wanted to pick her up, she grabbed him and threw him over the trees: the only witnesses to this story.

Stefan Damman likes to use nature, myths and legends in his work. They come together in this place, aptly named 'Foar de dûvel net bang'. Put your ear to the trunk and hear the stories only the trees know.
