The short detour to the Frauenroth monastery is definitely worthwhile to visit the important medieval tomb of the minstrel Otto von Botenlauben and his wife Beatrix von Courtenay from the 13th century. Especially if you have already visited the Bodenlauben castle ruins above Bad Kissingen.
