The Mera Dera is an excellent restaurant that recently opened just across the main road from GIFT University. I tried it and went back there three times within the following week.
It has international food, but above all a large variety of Punjabi and Pakistani dishes, including a barbecue grill where you can get the pieces of your choice, fresh from the charcoal grill.
Another speciality is the Dessert buffet. - Don't eat too much before you get there.
Excellent service, at all times!
Unfortunately I did not take photos inside.
So you have to look for yourselves.
