The Tomb of Jahangir is a 17th-century mausoleum built for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. The mausoleum dates from 1637, and is near Lahore, along the banks of the Ravi River.
At the centre of the mausoleum is an octagonal tomb chamber lined with carved marble in which the remains of the Mughal Emperor rest in a crypt below a cenotaph. The cenotaph at the centre is carved from a single slab of white marble and decorated with pietra dura inlays of the 99 attributes of God.
