The Preveli Palm Forest is a unique natural wonder on the south coast of Crete and is one of the largest and most significant palm forests in Europe, home to the rare and endemic Cretan date palm 🌴 (Phoenix theophrasti), one of the few palm species that grow wild in Europe.
