This trail goes around the southern side of Roundup Ground mountain and through Deadman Canyon. The terrain is mostly loose rocks and caution should be taken on some of the downhill sections. If you are hiking the Alamo Canyon and Roundup Ground Trail loop, it is recommended to start on the Alamo Canyon Trail and end with this trail, due to the steep downhills you will encounter.
