The garden was set up around the area of the Otto Ludwig memorial. In the center is the late Classicist garden house, which was once owned by the Ludwig family. It was built in 1814 (a year after Otto Ludwig was born) and today houses a collection related to the life of the poet.In front of the garden house there is a monument created by Karl Röhrig in 1934. It shows a bust of the young Otto Ludwig. The inscription on the base reads:Each leaf is
