The "Nadelöhr" (Needle's Eye) is just one highlight in the "Gießübler Schweiz" (Gießübler Switzerland). There's much more to discover. To get there, you hike along a nature trail where information panels explain the flora and fauna of the valley. Narrow paths lead past rock formations like the "Schröderfelsen" (Schröder Rock), the "Dachsbachkanzel" (Dachsbach Pulpit), and many other isolated rock formations. The entire valley is reminiscent of a miniature Swiss mountain valley. A visit is truly worthwhile. And when the pandemic is over, you can enjoy a cozy break at the "Triniusbaude" (Trinius Lodge), located directly on the Rennsteig trail.
