Stripagecs is a sculptural set made up of five large totems, created by the Andorran artist Pere Moles, which take the form of five stripagecs (metal bars with irregular side spikes that are placed on windows to prevent anyone from entering ; the name comes from its function, to gut the "guts" of thieves). They are part of the cultural and architectural heritage of Andorra, and are exact replicas of the parish church of Ordino.

The element of the totem is a supernatural object, being or animal, which in the mythologies of some cultures is taken as an emblem of the people or the individual.

This can include a diversity of attributes and meanings. In totemism, as in Land Art, it is also understood as a symbolic relationship between nature and human beings.

Sculptures by artist Pere Moles from 2015

"Estripagecs" are iron bars with side spikes that were historically placed on the windows of huts and country houses in Andorra and other areas of the Pyrenees to prevent intruders and thieves from getting in. The name is composed of the word 'spikes' ('stripa' in Catalan) and 'jackets' ('gecs'), which were torn by the former when boarding.

For the artist, these iron bars are the symbol of an Andorra that lived practically in isolation and is gradually opening up to visitors, breaking down barriers more and more.
