Hiking

One of the 18 forts that make up the Poznań Fortress. Concentration camp, place of execution of Greater Poland inhabitants. Currently the best preserved facility of this type. Inside there is a museum of martyrdom of Greater Poland. There is a lot to see.

Cycling

After the occupation of Poznań by the Germans in 1939, the first concentration camp in the occupied territories was established on the outskirts of the city. For this purpose, the Nazis adopted the German Fort VII, built in the 1870s. Fort VII was the largest German camp for the extermination of Polish elites in the Wartheland. It was under the supervision of the SS and Gestapo.
