This 150 square meter fresco was inaugurated on September 12, 2008 on the occasion of Québec's 400th anniversary.
The model of cartoonist and illustrator Jean-Paul Eid was selected for this work. The illustration situates the city of Quebec in a universe that is both maritime and aerial. The Quebec Bridge becomes a pedestrian bridge between the buildings of Old Quebec from which the cannons of Frontenac emerge and between which Champlain's boat circulates.
