The little that remains of this hermitage, the ruins, is in the valley of Santa Maria, a few steps from the small crossroads of the Old shortcut of Sant Jeroni with the path of All the hermitages that leads to the northern region or tebaida , past the Strait of Gibraltar, or passage of the French, about twenty minutes from the Monastery, about one thousand two hundred steps (and many steps).
It was the nearest hermitage to the Monastery and the center of all the others; during the time they were inhabited it was intended as a parish of hermitages. Mass was celebrated twice a week.
The chapel was more spacious than the other hermitages and had a choir with thirteen chairs.
It consisted of an entrance hall, oratory, retreat room, hall and alcove, museum, study and retreat; dining room, kitchen, cistern, choir and garden.
