At the charming old port of Middelfart lies Fiskehuset - Strib Fisk.Many different types of high-quality fish are offered here. You can also buy various delicious fish dishes, which you can enjoy at the tables and benches set up right on the quay in the old port, weather permitting.

Strib Fisk is a family-run fish shop in Middelfart owned by Kurt and Patrick, father and son. Here you'll find a wide selection of fresh and freshly smoked fish, as well as takeaway and takeout meals that you can enjoy at home or on the quay overlooking the water.
Kurt comes from a fishing family that has fished all his life. He catches fish himself and wants to start selling it. In the late 1990s, he borrowed money from his father to buy a fish truck in Strib.
Together with some friends who are also professional fishermen, Kurt catches some fish, which he sells from the truck.
After that, things moved quickly, and in 2000, the premises at Havnegade 93 in Middelfart became available. This was the beginning of the Strib Fisk fish shop in Middelfart, where father and son now run the shop together.
In 2015, Patrick graduated as a retail butcher, specializing in wild fish. As an 11-year-old, he started helping out after school by scrubbing the counters while the fish was being cut. Therefore, becoming a co-owner of the fish shop was always a natural fit for him.stribfisk.dk/om-os

Fiskehuset Strib Fisk is only partially open on weekends. If you want to stop by, you should read the opening times in advance. It is currently open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and unfortunately not at all on Sundays.
