Ben Gulabin used to be home to a mechanised ski tow and a hut, the ruins of which can still be seen today. Built by the Dundee Ski Club in 1948, it's since been supplanted by the extensive development of the nearby Glenshee Snowsports Centre, Scotland's largest skiing area. These remains are often spotted by those making the ascent to Ben Gulabin's summit which, at 2,644 feet (806 m), qualifies as a Corbett.
