This segment shows the entire Cat & Fiddle, ascent and descent. The summit is at around 515m. It is usually tackled west to east from Macclesfield. It's quite long at around 6.5 miles, so not particularly steep at an average of 3%, so it's not too punishing for 'larger riders' as there are no points where the gradient is in excess of approximately 8%. Definitely one to try out.
