Cozy mountain hut on the local mountain of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. While it can get crowded during the day due to the cable car on the sun terrace, it is all the more peaceful in the evening. Then you enjoy the sunset, look down on the lights of Garmisch and then visit the cozy dormitory.

Hiking
The Wankhaus, also known as the Alois Huber House, is located at an altitude of 1,780 meters and is open from May to early November. You can stop by daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and indulge in delicious mountain hut dishes. You can also stay overnight at the Wankhaus. More information can be found at wankhaus.de.
