San Marcos Square in León is one of the city's most iconic locations. It is located in front of the Convent of San Marcos, an impressive Spanish Renaissance building that now serves as a luxurious parador. We are in front of the convent of San Marcos, one of the great architectural jewels of the Spanish city of León. It is a transit area of the Camino de Santiago Francés, and if we go back in history, this building was a hospital for pilgrims. It is currently a tourist hostel.
