I had to let everything sink first. After 890 kilometers, we reached the destination of our eventful journey. Pure goose bumps. We are now in the village of Fisterra and went last night to Cape Finestere to look at the sunset with a bottle of wine. Of course I have seen sunsets, but I have never walked 890km for it🤣. That's why it was so special. Dream, dream lived. Happy and proud. I will never forget this trip. Will miss the hostel charm very much. But now I am also looking forward to our children and all friends. In this sense "Buen Camino" 🙋♀️🚶♀️😎

This morning we overslept🤭🤣. It's nice to go to Finestere, but the head does not quite go along with it. Yesterday and today the stages were very difficult for us, although the stages were not so long. Tomorrow we start our last leg of our journey. I'm looking forward to Kap Finestere.

After we picked up our Compostela in the pilgrim office this morning, we had a nice breakfast first. Then we continued towards Negreira. Today we only made 21km🤣 but they were enough for us🤭🤭. We are still a bit the long tour of yesterday in the bone. Tomorrow another 30km and the day after tomorrow 35km we would have to be in Finestere. We are curious

After a really good night, the great hostel started this morning at 05: 40h. Temperatures were good, too, just before Palas de Rei. There it was very foggy and cool. Although ideal for running. Today we tried Melide Pulpo (squid) national dish in Galicia. I thought it was delicious. You have to try it. Actually, our stage should end in Melide. Since we still could we went then still another place. To Boente. There we are now at the pool and chill out. We deserve it

Since yesterday we had no more desire to explore Sarria, I made this morning still a few pictures in the dark🤪🤭. Sarria went to Portomarin. A really nice little town. There we took a slightly longer break. Our destination today was Gonzar, the first village just behind Portomarin. We always avoid the bigger cities a little bit, because the villages are more familiar. Yesterday we stopped at the entrance of Sarria, so we are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Our hostel today is a dream. An old farmhouse has been renovated and converted into a hostel with 22 beds. Often we go to smaller hostels instead of hostels with 100 beds. The last 100km we have cracked today. Have bad Wlan here, a death you have to die🤣🤣.

What we were torturing ourselves yesterday, we went down today. To the delight of the knee. Scenic we have seen a lot again, there are always only mountains but every time we go a little further, it looks quite different again. At least that's how it is. Today we arrived in Sarria. Tomorrow we are already under 100km🙄. Insane as time goes by, we have been running for 22 days and have already passed almost 700km. I can not realize that yet ....

This morning we took another alternative route. Absolutely the right decision. By the time we were up on the mountain, we already had some drops of sweat🤭. The view and the sunrise were a dream. Was really worth it. We continued through a few villages. Today we reached the landmark of Galicia. It was an exhausting but super great stage. Tomorrow we will probably reach Sarria and then we have only about 110km to Santiago de Compostela😱🤔
