As with all Fire Lookouts on top of a mountain, you'll be rewarded with beautiful 360-degree views at the top of Duncan Peak. The fire lookout is not in use anymore but is still a great destination for a hike.

At the peak of Bald Mountain, there is an old fire lookout that gives you a great view of Tahoe National Forest. The path to the top is moderately challenging, but it is definitely worth the effort.
