The Waldhotel am Stausee in Bucha is a hotel and restaurant with a wonderful view of the Saale. You can linger on the large sun terrace. The kitchen is down to earth and very tasty. For a rest or a hotel stay a beautiful and secluded place with lots of forest and fresh air.

This hotel advertises casual wellness in the middle of the forest and short distances to the reservoir. It is not far from the Saalfeld (Saale) train station (13 kilometers). The Ranis Castle Museum, located on a ridge, is only ten kilometers away. The food is very good and the view from the large sun terrace is terrific!
