As the property of the Ticino SAC section, the Campo Tencia hut is the first mountain hut in the Ticino Alps. It was built in 1912 at the foot of the summit of the same name.
The hut that exists today was rebuilt in 1977 after a fire and is comfortable and modern; Further renovation work has been carried out in recent years.
The kitchen is excellent, the material that is needed was brought to our breakfast by helicopter.

The leg from Dalpe to Capanna Campo Tencia is also good for families. The distance is not to be underestimated. The Capanna is recommended. Well-kept rooms, good food and well organized.
