The Villa March in Cala Ratjada was built in 1915 by the Spanish businessman Joan March Ordinas and served as his summer residence. The villa was designed by architect Francesc Roca i Simo and built in neo-gothic style. Today the Villa March is a museum and displays a collection of works of art and furniture, Renaissance and Baroque objects and an exhibition on the history of the Balearic Islands and the March family.

Hiking

You may have noticed this magnificent villa several times behind the port of Cala Ratjada or up near the lighthouse of Capdepera. This is the beautiful Villa March, which towers over the holiday resort and is absolutely worth seeing for botany lovers with its wonderful gardens and sculptures.
