Die Runde würde ich in diesem Umfang nicht mehr zu Fuss machen, da sowohl der Hin-, als auch der Rückweg wenig visuelle Abwechslung bietet. Hinzu kommt, das gerade auf dem Hinweg der Puls wegen der vielen Hofhunde steigt, da nicht immer einschätzbar ist, ob diese auch auf dem Grundstück bleiben. Wer das Naturschutzgebiet besuchen möchte: es gibt auf beiden Seiten Parkplätze, zum Eingang Richtung Meer könnte man auch mit dem Bus hinfahren.

Mal eine etwas andere Wanderung, nämlich im Wesentlichen an der Küste/ am Strand bei bestem Herbstwetter 🌞😎. Leider sind einige Teile von in Komoot angezeigten Wanderungen mittlerweile gesperrt und (eigentlich) nicht mehr zugänglich. Ein Bereich ist leider die Strecke ziemlich am Anfang vom Strand weg Richtung Inselinneres - durch weitläufigen Zaun abgegrenzt. Ich habe mich, wie wohl schon viele vor mir, zwar getraut über den (ramponierten) Zaun zu steigen, korrekt war es aber nicht. Später habe ich es aber nicht wiederholt und bin auf freigebenen Wegen geblieben - es lohnt sich aber trotzdem!

Start/Ziel in Aurich/ Extum. Hinwärts war die Strecke gut ausgebaut, entsprechend flott ging's voran - für's "Auge" allerdings nicht sooo schön. Der Dünenradweg hat hier wieder einiges "aufgeholt" - toll! Der Rückweg verlief in Küstennähe auf schönen Nebenstrecken, zum Schluss Richtung Aurich dann aber wieder an einer vielbefahrenen Straße. Meine Empfehlung: in der Peripherie von Greetsiel parken und dann eine Rundtour starten. Greetsiel ist unbedingt ein Besuch wert, ist aber zur Hauptreisezeit sehr voll. Im weiteren Verlauf nach Greetsiel führt die Strecke am berühmten "Otto-Leuchtturm" vorbei. Ich war mit einem normalen Rad unterwegs, mit Blick auf den fast immer vorhandenen Wind, aus allen Richtungen, hat ein E-Bike "was'!

Wanderausflug in die Umgebung von Aurich zu den Moorgebieten. Sobald der Stadtrand erreicht ist, führt die Strecke hauptsächlich über schöne, zum Teil einsame Eald- und Forstwege - empfehlenswert 👍, insbesondere zur beginnenden Herbstzeit, wenn es bunt wird.🙂
