The tower Dutch mill made of quarry stone masonry was built in 1855 by master miller Friedrich Brandt from Warnstedt. For over 80 years it served day after day, year after year, grinding the grain of the local farmers. Then in 1941, mechanization and electrification had progressed so far that the mill was stopped. Until then, the Schröder family had operated the mill.
