The northern dock on Santa Cruz Island, getting here is about a 1 hour trip from the mainland. The ferry operates between 5 to 7 days a week, depending on the season. Visitors will need to climb a steel ladder when exiting the boat and climbing onto the docks. When the docks are closed, a smaller boat will take visitors directly to the beach.
