The mountain area of Panorama Park is cut by an old country road, which is now good for hiking and cycling (cars are still allowed, but rarely drive here). The former amusement park was converted into a pure wildlife park after its insolvency. However, several leisure facilities such as a boat slide, summer toboggan run and the monorail known from earlier can still be experienced. Since the Panorama Park requires a visit of several hours, hikers will probably be satisfied with the view through the fences. That is very possible at this point.

In a southerly direction we look at the large game reserve. A transport train pulled by a tractor drives through the game reserve at regular intervals. For the willing onlooker, of course, there is only a limited insight. Once you have crossed the connecting tunnel, you can see another animal enclosure.

A short way down the valley you will come across a marked Rothaarsteig path that leads directly to the entrance to the Panorama Park.
