The El Chorro station, inaugurated in 1865, currently functions as a reception center for visitors to the famous Caminito del Rey. However, we must not forget that the station represents a part of the industrial history of Malaga. At the back of the building are water tanks for the steam trains that used to stop here between the tunnels.
