This little-known stone circle is thousands of years old; archaeologists believe it may have been built in 2,000 B.C. In 1995, the Tarves Heritage Project cleaned the site, so it is now suitable for visitors. Stone age tools that were excavated from the site are on display at the Tarvis Heritage Center: tarvesheritage.org.uk
