The Formartine and Buchan Way is a multi-user trail that follows the old railway line from Dyce in the south to Fraserburgh on the north coast. There is also a branch line that splits from the main trail at Maud and heads east to the coast at Peterhead.
This section is well surfaced and suitable for all riders.

Cycling

A good and very flat section of the cycle way. Just north of Auchnagatt can be muddy and rockier than other sections of the line, and exposed to the wind. The views across the farmland are good.
