Very, very nice coastal hike ... we needed about 5 hours with 2 small breaks.
Based on tips from others, we started in Cruzinha and walked to Ponta do Sol.
Getting a "taxi" in Ponta do Sol in the evening is much easier compared to Cruzinha... especially since Cruzinha is very remote and not that easy to reach even by car (gravel road).
So ... let yourself be driven to Cruzinha before noon (we paid 2500 for 2 people from RibeiraGrande) and then you can start your hike comfortably ...
We took a break with a cold drink at Sonja's (Chez Sonja) in Formiguinhas ... we then watched the sunset from the Caleta bar in Ponta do Sol ...

Walked this route from Cruzinha to Ponta do Sol. Can be done in 3,5hours including some drink brakes, not to difficult

In the morning from Ponta do Sol to Ribeira Grande with the collectivo for 100, and around 09:30 with the collectivo from Ribeira Grande to Cruzinha for 500.

Worth a visit!
