Kreta 🇬🇷 E4 Gerakari bis Spili
Mit dem Taxi haben wir uns zum Startpunkt bringen lassen und wollten den E4 Weg von Gerakari bis Spili laufen. Der Weg fing vielversprechend an und wir hatten einen phantastischen Blick auf Kretas höchsten Berg Psiloritis (2.456 m). Die Abbiegung zum Pass haben wir zunächst verpasst, sind zurückgelaufen und nach ein paar Hundertmeter die Aussichtslosigkeit erkannt (kein begehbarer Weg und Steilhang) und weiter auf dem Hauptweg. Zweiter Versuch durch die Schlucht am Bach entlang, keine Chance! Also wieder den Hauptweg entlang mit Blick auf den zweit höchsten Berg Kretas Pachnes (2.453 m). Sehr schön! Fazit: Die Aussicht bei schönem Wetter grandios. Der E4 ist gar nicht ausgeschildert und der Weg teilweise nicht erkennbar und begehbar. Schade!

This tour was again so different: Bizarre coastal panoramas and spectacular views. Wonderful! The snow-covered mountain Psiloritis hid a little and Matala had a hippie flair 😍 Even the small beach bar was open at "Red Beach" 🍹

Very beautiful and exciting hike. 😍 We would have actually walked back the same route along the beach from Triopetra. But since crossing the very crowded stream, which was more of a raging river and not easy to manage, we went back via the road, unfortunately 3 km are missing from the recording 😊

Kreta 🇬🇷 Agia Galíni bis Kokkinos Pyrgos nicht möglich!
Der Küstenweg ist durch Wassermassen zerstört und nach 3 km nicht weiter begehbar. Agia Galíni ist ein wunderschönes kleines Hafenstädtchen mit schmalen Gassen, urigen Tavernen und schönen Geschäften. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Surprisingly beautiful path to the aqueduct "alte Mühle" to the idyllically located village of Mirthios. ❗️Without Komoot we would not have found the start❗️🫣, that would have been a real shame 😅 and then the Saharan dust came and colored not only the sky red. A true spectacle of nature 😍

Wonderful circular trail on narrow paths surrounded by green meadows, blooming flowers, past ancient olive trees, with a magnificent view, along the river to the Preveli Palm Beach. So beautiful! 😍🔝

Beautiful, exciting hike through the gorge, partly with climbing sections up to the spot where a metal ladder once stood, here the tour ended for us, here we would have had to hang on to a water pipe to get onto the rock block. 😬🫣
