In this wonderful nature reserve on the outskirts of Schwenningen, the waters from which the Neckar rises not far away collects. On a path made of wooden planks you can explore the moor in more detail and get an idea of the diverse flora and fauna. Please note that cycling on the wrong track is not permitted. The best thing to do is push your bike.

The moss is the origin of the Neckar, which runs out there as a stream. The European watershed runs through the Schwenniger Moos, which means that some of the water that flows out runs into the Danube towards the Black Sea, and some goes north to the North Sea.
