The chapel Ühledömche (little owl) in the district of Distelrath is probably the oldest surviving church building in Düren. The chapel owes its name to the barn owls that like to nest in the tower. The chapel is dedicated to the apostles Simon and Judas Thaddeus.
The tower of the Ühledömchen was first mentioned in the 12th century as the original fortified tower.
The Ühledomche belongs to the parish of St. Lukas Düren. The chapel is often used for church services, weddings and baptisms.
The Ühledomche is open every Saturday and Sunday.
