In the middle of the village, next to the church, is the house where the "Seer of Prevorst" was born (today the Ochsen Inn). On September 23, 1801 Friederike was born here as the daughter of the district forester Wanner and his wife. A visit to the historic inn is well worth it!

The 482 m high situated village Prevorst is the highest residential area of the district of Ludwigsburg. In addition to the idyllic location, the place has something special to offer: it is the birthplace of the "seer of Prevorst" (1801 - 1829). The house now houses the Ox Inn and is a popular retreat for hikers and cyclists.
