Here you get to the other side of the reservoir. You can then drive up another 1 km to the left. From there you have a beautiful view, but from then on you can't go any further and you have to drive back. From the dam bridge itself you also have a beautiful view in both directions.

The dam is passable. On the descent from Pico de las Nieves or Cruz Grande you cross here to the other side of the valley. The reservoir and dam are definitely worth a look.
