Of the Ponte Sordo only a portion of the access ramp remains today as the structure unfortunately collapsed. As for the other bridges along the route, the facing is of the "petit appearil" type, therefore made up of squared blocks aligned and bound with carefully finished mortar. Archaeological excavations here have brought to light part of the Roman road built by means of river pebbles compacted with a beaten clay and earth (glareata road), over four meters wide and bordered by shoulder boards made with the same technique used for the bridge.
