Orco

The countryside village of Orco is located on the southern side of Monte Alto, from which you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view. The village hosts some wall remains and a tower from the 10th century and is surrounded by orchards and vineyards from which excellent wines such as the Lumassina and the Barbarossa are produced. In front of the Orco oratory there is a water fountain where you can cool off and stock up on water before tackling the trail that leads to the village of Boragni.

A moment of pause and relaxation before jumping into the Val di Nava

Sleepy and somewhat out of time, the little village sits perched on the saddle between Cucco and the hinterland. There are several options for descending, and the trail to the trails east of Colle di San Giacomo starts here.
