La Hottée de Gargantua is a rocky chaos around ten meters high with surprising shapes, located west of Laon, in the commune of Molinchart, in the department of Aisne, France. This set of rocks released by erosion is made of sandstone and was formed 70 million years ago, during the Tertiary era. The rocks have an animal look and are unique in their kind. La Hottée de Gargantua is a popular place for hikers and nature lovers.
