Next to the Queen's throne. This palace, which despite its "youth" (it was built during the 19th century) is one of the most beautiful in Europe, stands on an incomparable natural environment, that of Serra de Sintra, and is surrounded by a botanical garden in where thousands of species from all corners of the planet coexist.

Best viewpoint of Pena Palace. Almost nobody visits this place but it provides a better viewpoint than High Cross, closer to the palace and no trees get in the way.

Apperently this was Queen Catherine's favourite spot as well and there is a throne carved out in the Rock. it was even made more comfortable with asphalt, which was quite a new product at the time.
