Relatively unknown, it is the family home of Jane Austen’s relatives. Very well laid out and full of historic items, including first editions of Jane’s books. One of the guides is her 6th nephew!

Very well laid out and interesting tour of the manor house. Home to the Knight family for over five centuries and heavily linked to the Austen family too. One of the volunteers is a direct descendant of Jane Austen. The house should be better know for it's knowledgeable staff and varied and interesting artefacts.
