The good news is that the total of around 300 meters of altitude are climbed partly in shady forest and the view at the top towards Wendelstein and Fischbachau is a great reward.
Tip: Turn left before or in Sonnenreuth and ride across the plateau on lonely back roads to Hundham. Ideal for racing bikes and almost without a car.
