The climb to Mirador del Time from the Barranco de las Angustias is almost exactly 6 kilometers long. You cover 416 meters in altitude, which corresponds to an average gradient of 6.9%. The pass connects the Adriane Valley coming from Los Llanos or Tazacorte with the northwest side of the island.

The heat here is usually extreme. There are also a lot of cars on the road as it is the only connecting road to the north. The asphalt of the pass is in good condition throughout, only through the village of Amagar is the surface a little cracked and holey.

Once at the top, the great viewpoint or Mirador awaits you, with a cafe/restaurant and a souvenir shop. From here you really have a great view of the entire Adriane Valley and the west side of the island. The lava flow from Tajogaite, which erupted in 2021, is also wonderful to see.
