Otters originally inhabited the banks of all Swiss waterways up to 1,600 metres above sea level. In 1989, the otter was considered extinct in Switzerland. From 2009, otters have been documented again sporadically in Grisons, Ticino and Geneva. In spring 2015, a female with two juveniles was spotted between Berne and Thun thanks to a camera trap.In wildpark you can see this cute animals and learn a little about them.
