Since 1987. The harem group in Langenberg West is used to breed offspring in the European Conservation Breeding Program (EEP). Since autumn 2011 it has been possible to keep takhis and bison together in a spacious facility.
Since 1996, Langenberg has been involved in a reintroduction project by the International Takhi Group (ITG), which has released the wonderful wild horses into the wild in a large Mongolian nature reserve and supports them on their way back to freedom.
