Tips
Dressed in white snow, the "Guardian of the Water" gazes sublimely over the surface of the water in front of Traun Castle. The monumental bronze sculpture was created in 1999 by the artist Prof. Ingeborg Kuba, who was born in Traun in 1929.This fountain figure was originally chosen as the focal point for the new main square in Traun. Due to the redesign because of the tram route, the bronze sculpture was planned in the newly designed moat in front of Traun Castle."Finally my "guardian of the water" has found a worthy place!" rejoiced the artist, who was present at the laying in 2015.
