Tips
The country road between the Mozart intersection and the main square is a pedestrian zone. Only the trams run in the middle. There are restaurants, shops and churches on both sides. At Christmas time the street is colorfully lit and decorated. A Christmas market called “Winterwald” (“Winter Magic in the Klosterhof”) takes place opposite the Ursuline Church near the “Sieglbräu zum Klosterhof” restaurant.

The “Landstraße” is the main shopping street in Linz. However, you have to be careful here because of the tram lines that run there. However, there are also some quiet side streets that are worth a leisurely stroll.
