The Trojan Horse is a famous legend from Greek mythology, in which Greek soldiers conquered the city of Troy (near present-day Çanakkale, Turkey) after a 10-year siege through cunning, using a wooden horse. The Trojans pulled the horse, disguised as a gift, into the city, after which hidden warriors freed themselves at night and opened the city gates.
