The Limina Village or UNRRA Village is a point of reference all year round on the Limina plateaus, it is also often used as a "Free Camping Area" and for picnics, a base for numerous hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, tourists and mountain lovers, given the beauty and centrality of the place, very close to the Limina Pass and the Limina junction of the SGC SS 682 Jonio-Tirreno, along the ancient path and the Calabrian Apennine crest road. Passionate hikers walk along the Sentiero Italia and/or Sentiero del Brigante, while cyclists travel along the "Ciclovia dei Parchi" of Calabria, even motorcyclists travel on the Ciclovia along the Aspromonte towards the South (Canolo Nuova, Crocifisso Zervò, Zervò, Gambarie and Reggio Calabria). The Village is inhabited all year round by Fra Damiano, guardian of the Church of the Madonna dell'Assunta, the festival takes place on August 15, with the participation of thousands of faithful and tourists.
