The base of the Gothic martyrdom is 1.60m high, 66cm wide and 36cm deep; on the west side there is an unknown coat of arms and the characters HMV4EL 1621. On the narrow sides there are flat, Gothic niches. On the north side the year 1419. The aedicula 100x84x32cm, on the west and east sides there are flat niches with the reliefs, on the north and south sides there are figures without niches. At the end there is a slightly overhanging pyramid-shaped cover 80cm high.

On a square base there is a round column that tapers towards the top, with a ring bulge at the top and bottom, a volute capital. Aedicula with four empty picture niches, dowel holes visible, round arches above the niches. The martyrdom is crowned by a richly decorated double cross.
The martyr's column used to stand about 30 meters further west near a group of trees on Bamberger-Lindenstraße. Due to the expansion of Lindenstraße, the field monument was moved to its current location on September 1, 1962.
