Croce di Rozzo Còvole

Very panoramic promontory on the Tretti, overlooking the Alba district: on the left the Summano with its sharp and jagged crests; in front the plain and the hills of Vicenza; on the right the Novegno massif, with the rounded Monte Giove in the foreground.In some maps (for example OpenStreetMap) it is indicated as 'Croce del Brazòme': in reality the Cima Brazome, not always marked, consists of two peaks further west, overlooking the Val d'Astico; while behind this cross, above the path, there is Monte Rozzo Covole.
Another inappropriate and curious name that is given to the Rozzo Covolo pass is 'Passo del Gatto': many years ago, when the members of the CAI came to clean the path, they often spotted a wild cat, and for this reason they began to indicate it amicably as 'passo del gatto'!
